The Jewish Cemeteries in Via Wiel and Via Campagnola await you on Sunday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., to reveal a unique heritage of memory, culture, and tradition.

Walking among ancient tombstones, you can retrace almost eight centuries of Jewish presence in Padua, guided by the stories of rabbis, doctors, intellectuals, and political figures who have marked the city’s past.

Thanks to the podcast “Racconti di Pietra” (Tales of Stone), the voice of history will come back to life in an exciting narrative inspired by the famous Spoon River Anthology.

An intense, authentic, and evocative experience, designed for those who love to discover the roots of their city and see it with new eyes.

The Italian rite Synagogue is undoubtedly among the must-visit places in Padua. Founded in 1548, still in use, embellished with elegant eighteenth-century furnishings.
