{"id":3387,"date":"2024-03-15T17:04:18","date_gmt":"2024-03-15T16:04:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.museopadovaebraica.com\/didattica-musei\/tre-storie-la-memoria-tra-consapevolezza-e-oblio\/"},"modified":"2024-05-09T11:06:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-09T09:06:01","slug":"three-stories-memory-between-awareness-and-oblivion","status":"publish","type":"didattica-musei","link":"https:\/\/www.museopadovaebraica.com\/en\/museum-education\/three-stories-memory-between-awareness-and-oblivion\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Stories \u2013 Memory Between Awareness and Oblivion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activity Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The educational workshop &#8216;Three Stories&#8217; consists of three phases aimed at understanding and reworking the memory of the Holocaust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first phase aims to explain the fundamental events that marked the persecution of the rights and lives of Italian Jews, particularly those in Padua, between 1938 and 1945.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second phase involves watching the film &#8216;Three Stories&#8217; (2020, 30 min), which collects the testimonies of three women: one a direct witness and the other two from the second generation. They are involved in reconstructing their personal and family history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third and final phase aims to fully understand the events recounted in the three different stories and to rework them, making them one&#8217;s own and thus positioning oneself as custodians of these testimonies. This is done through a moment of dialogue and reflection \u2013 first collectively and then in small groups \u2013 on the impressions aroused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduce students to the history and events of the Nazi-fascist persecution of Jews, with a focus on the case of Padua<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage with three cases of &#8216;micro-history&#8217; that relate to general events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reinterpret the recounted memories with awareness so that students can, in turn, become witnesses and true bearers of memory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* The documentary film &#8220;Tre Storie. La memoria tra consapevolezza e oblio,&#8221; directed by Filippo Tognazzo and Raffaella Rivi, was produced by the Jewish Community of Padua and Zelda Teatro with the support of the Veneto Region.
