25 September 1942: Piera Almansi obtains the certificate of promotion to the fourth class of the Scientific High School of Cremona

After the promulgation of the Racial Laws, all the official documents issued by Italian State Schools to Jewish students reported the wording “of Jewish Race”, often in red.

The declaration given Piera Rachel Almansi on her request, reports this wording and attests she passed from the third to the fourth year of the Liceo Scientifico”, in Cremona. In other words, the document attests her degree of study. After being expelled from school in 1938, Piera would not continue her studies.
